Briefly about me
I'm a 25 years old guy from Buenos Aires, Argentina that does programming, studyies, teachs (a bit), with a bit of sense humor who likes playing soccer, swearing and cursing.
About my study
I'm (hopefully) finishing my studies in Computer Science at Universidad de Buenos Aires. I'm also a second-rate teaching assistant in Operating Systems subject. I also do teaching and research at Universidad Nacional General Sarmiento.
My interests
I like beautiful code, perfect models and that stuff. I'm also very interested in virtual machines, operating systems and graphics programming.
My non-Smalltalk experiences so far
I've worked/tryed a lot of different programming languages including C/C++/Visual C++/C#, Self, Php, Visual Basic, Perl, Python, JavaScript and Ruby.
My Smalltalk experiences so far
I've been having some fun for the last two years, since I attended two object oriented programming courses.
Why am I interested in Smalltalk?
Because I want a programming language where you can focus in domain problems an not in the way you have to translate your ideas to the computer. A language that is self descriptive and fully automatable, that does the hard work for me and not the other way around.
Will I stay with Smalltalk after the project is finished?
Absolutely.
