My interests
In the field of my studies, I'm interested mainly in programming and software engineering in addition to web development.
Outside the field of my study, I'm interested in reading, writing stories.
My non-Smalltalk experiences so far
I've already worked on Java projects during my studies. I've designed and implemented a program to analyze arabic articles and output the origins of words composing those articles.
I've also worked on a java program to manage Human Resources department in a local organization.
I've attended some courses in web programming that include PHP, JSP and ASP.NET.
My Smalltalk experiences so far
I don't have any smalltalk experience but I'm eager to learn it.
Why am I interested in Smalltalk?
I've already searched the Internet and found some code written in smalltalk. I find it an interesting and easy language to learn and develop in.
Another reason is that I want to learn something new and also contribute to open source projects.
Will I stay with Smalltalk after the project is finished?
I don't find any reason not to stay with smalltalk. Of cource, I feel interested in smalltalk now and this interest will increase after completing my project ;-)
